The experience of my diet is such that I would find it difficult to voluntarily resort to this method of torture alone. If not for one "but": I have personally seen the results of a two-week sitting on a "Japanese" diet. Just like in the magazine: "before" and "after". Still, the principle in matters of beauty and health works, perhaps, best.

It is difficult to say why the diet is called Japanese - half of the foods recommended for eating for the Japanese are exotic. According to legend, the diet was developed by specialists of the Japanese clinic "Yaeks", but no further traces of this practice were found on the English-speaking Internet.

Lyrical sentimental digression

I have to say that I admire the courage of people who can feel the weight loss recipe that is online and try it right away. I myself am wary of diets. Life has connected me to them twice.

For the first time - in severe form, when I caught some kind of stomach infection in the mountains and stayed for three weeks at an altitude of 3000 meters, I simply could not eat: everything immediately demanded a return. The second time was when I decided to limit my diet to 1000 calories a day. For almost a month, my diet consisted of morning coffee with ice cream, which is handy for lunch, and frozen vegetables for dinner. I learned that the diet should be balanced much later.

So the first question I asked was: How balanced is the Japanese diet? "More or less, but not enough amino acids, " replied a friend of the biochemist, "you will be evil - horror with a gun. "His fears of my hypothetical increased wickedness did not materialize. For the first two days, the body was suppressed by the sudden disappearance of normal food from his life. And realizing that it had been a long time, but not forever, he became quiet and indifferent.

Charm and disappointment

As this happens during each experiment on me, I have compiled a list of charms and disappointments. More precisely, the inconvenience and enjoyment of food.

Inconvenience # 1

The diet is strict. Because, according to the authors, it is designed to change metabolism. Therefore, the slightest deviation from the course (even a crouton, even an apple) - and the expected effect is not guaranteed. And that is expected: parting with 5 - 8 kilograms and stabilization of weight in the future.

Inconvenience # 2

It is very difficult to come to a business lunch and coquettishly ask for, please, two hard-boiled eggs and 200 grams of grated carrots. Usually such requirements remain unfulfilled. Therefore, you will need to take all your supplies with you in your purse. And, most likely, prepare diet meals the day before.

Pleasant number 1

A 13 day Japanese diet will cost you about 2 times less than a daily business lunch or lunch at work. And even more - buying food for the home.

Pleasant number 2

In general, it is better not to start a strict diet if at least half of the food it consists of is uncomfortable. And since in "normal life" I eat fish, boiled beef, carrots, kefir and cabbage with great enthusiasm, then, to be honest, I was happy to see them.

Many people ask questions about drinking coffee every morning - isn't it harmful? If you have heart problems or high blood pressure, then coffee can have an adverse effect. And before you start a Japanese diet, it is worth consulting your doctor.

A whole series of sensations

For the first two days of the diet, I was haunted by a vision: as soon as I closed my eyes, a thinly baked pancake appeared in front of my inner gaze and spontaneously rolled into a tube. Then someone kindly dipped it in strawberry jam and brought it to my face. There were no fragrant hallucinations. After chasing me for two days, the pancake was left behind.

The stone indifference and calm attitude towards culinary delicacies began, which continues to this day. That doesn't mean that I will sharply refuse if I am offered to try something tasty. But the nervous trembling from the fact that "there is so much food there" is no longer noticeable.

I didn't lose that much - only 4 kilograms, but the weight doesn't come back. I don't know who to thank for this: the Japanese food developers or me - for playing sports twice a week. The only detail: during the diet you noticeably weaken, and towards the end it becomes problematic to open an unopened bottle of mineral water. But then the strength is quickly restored.
